FOR SALE • Bear COVE FARM • $1,000,000
Bear Cove Farm Overview
Peaceful solitude awaits the new owners of this 168-acre property nestled between the mountains, rivers and mystic shoreline of Alaska’s Kachemak Bay.
Bear Cove Farm is steeped in Alaskan history. In the 1940’s, the founding homesteaders, pioneers to this rugged and awesome wilderness, carved out a small settlement consisting of a main house, cabins, shop, warehouse, small sawmill and the 1,250-foot airstrip sited on the north shore of a placid unnamed lake.
The Japanese current can temper the weather at times for milder winters and warmer summers. Wildlife abounds with moose, bears, eagles, loons and ravens and much more. Kachemak Bay teems with sea life, including salmon, halibut, trout, clams, whales, otters and seals.
This is a great opportunity for those who want to enjoy the peace, tranquility and serenity of nature upon the land and surrounded with Alaska’s beauty everywhere.
